Counselling & Psychotherapy

Accessibility & Solidarity

Access to therapy is not equal for everyone. Financial privilege, social location, structural inequalities, and factors outside individual control shape who is able to seek and sustain care.

In response to this reality, I include some Supported Fee spaces for clients who may need financial flexibility. I view fees as fluid rather than fixed, that can be revisited as necessary. The intention is that cost does not become the primary barrier to accessing therapy.

I share this to be transparent about how fees are structured in my practice and let you know about an additional option available within this framework.

Clients who wish to contribute at a higher tier beyond the agreed fee may do so in the spirit of solidarity. These additional contributions help sustain Supported Fee spaces. This is entirely voluntary and never expected. Choosing or not choosing this option has no bearing on our work together or the terms of our agreement.

Similarly, clients paying the Standard Fee who experience an unforeseen shift in circumstances that makes the agreed fee difficult to sustain are welcome to speak with me about moving to a Supported Fee space as per availability.

This is one way I try to balance care and fairness, so that therapy can remain accessible to a wider range of people while also staying sustainable for me as a practitioner.

With that said, the agreed fee is always complete and respected, regardless of the tier.

Please know that there’s no need to discuss this unless you’d like to. If you do, I’m available.
